As one of our key jobs, for all confirmed orders, with the confirmed delivery lead time, along with the production situation, to avoid potential risks or claim to the clients, here is our normal process for quality control:
-
Quality Plan: for each product, combining the requests from the clients and the situation of the factory, we will produce a quality plan with all necessary criteria and inspection methods, and we will use it as the guidelines for the quality control team;
-
First-off prototype inspection to approve prior to mass production, especially for the new products. Sometimes, the samples will be supplied to the clients for approval if necessary;
-
In-production quality control: to the quality plan, our inspection team will be in the factory site during the production process. Mistake could be picked up and corrected immediately on site to avoid potential quality issues, which may lead to slippage of shipment or loss to the clients.
-
Pre-shipment quality control: for each order, prior to container loading, a pre-shipment inspection is always done by our inspector according to the criteria of the quality plan. Any failure to the specification sheet would be reworked prior to shipment for satisfaction, re-inspection will follow up to make sure the rework is done properly.
-
All the inspection reports are produced for clients and factory review, which can be helpful on the traceability and continuous improvement.
We are dealing a very big range of products, and here is a list of our normal quality control methods:
-
Sampling method: to be agreed with the client on AQL;
-
Routine inspection: dimensional check against drawings; visual; quantity;
-
Casting piece: pressure test for leakage, slicing for porosity level; impaction test;
-
Metal structure: chemical composition, mechanical properties; microstructure test; hardness;
-
Surface finishing: Powder coating adhesion and thickness; galvanization thickness;
-
Electric and gardening equipment: running test, safety check, electrical check, construction check;
-
Welding structure: welding penetration, loading force;
-
Packaging, labeling and container loading;
-
To improve the efficiency of inspection, go/no-go jigs are produced to the drawing for some key dimensions. Also to some special methods are applied to clients requirements, such as drop test, breaking test and so on for each batch of material.
-
To special requirements of testing, which cannot be done in house with the equipment of factory lab, samples will be arranged to approved third party lab for testing.
